| Résumé: | Military conflict is one of the events that bring inevitable changes to the soldier’s personality. There is no other event that activates human’s feelings and emotions as the military conflict and the war does. It is not a usual and common experience, so the consequences of it are also not common. Direct threat to life causes maximum physical and psychological efforts. During military conflict, particular threat to one’s integrity, especially for soldiers, are the stress, trauma, and the post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). To keep sanity, soldiers use many defensive mechanisms, primarily suppressing. |
