Abstract: Yanenko A.F., Yavorskyy B.I, Tkachuk R.A., Rusinchuk V.P. Peculiarities of lowintensity microwave radiation of materials for physiotherapy. Introduction The results of low-intensity EMI of natural materials studies used for thermal physiotherapy are reviewed. Research results In a result of radiometric measurements of weak signals at frequency of 45 GHz and therapeutic temperatures of (35-50)°C the quantitative assessment of the power level of these signals remain limited in diapason of (10-12 - 10-13) W‧cm-2. It was detected that in addition to thermal (i.e. infrared) positive flow using the mineral wax and mud were molded the micro components of negative type. This fact explains the additional therapeutic influence at painful inflammatory processes, which are characterized that is increased temperature. Conclusions It was found that the wax has a low emissivity and that by the ratio of the main component of the therapeutic mixture it is possible to control the level of negative microwave component.
