Іноземні інвестиції та економічний розвиток у перехідний період

Abstract

Доведено, що економічний розвиток України на сучасному етапі великою мірою залежить від кількості залучених інвестиційних ресурсів. Розглянуто роль, обсяги і динаміка іноземних інвестицій та їх вплив на розвиток економіки. Обґрунтовано необхідність сприяння економічному зростанню шляхом стимулювання інвестиційної діяльності. Наведено ресурси суб’єктів інвестиційної діяльності. Запропоновано заходи, які допоможуть покращити інвестиційний імідж України й створити сприятливі умови для надходження інвестицій.

The article is devoted to the problem of attracting foreign direct investment and economic development issues in the transition period. The problems of development of the countries in transition are noted. It is proved that the economic development of Ukraine at the present stage to a large extent depends on the volume of attracted investment resources. The essence of the notions of «investment» and «foreign investments», «investment resources» are considered. The role of volumes and dynamics of foreign investments and their influence on the development of the economy are researched. Country occupying the leading position among the EU countries in terms of investments into Ukraine is determined. The necessity for the promotion of economic growth by means of stimulating investment activity is well-grounded. This state guarantees the protection of foreign investments in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine. The resources of the subjects of investment activity are outlined. The legal regulation of foreign investments in the national economy including the Law of Ukraine «On stimulation of investment activity in priority sectors of the economy to create new jobs» which determines the fundamentals of the government policy in the investment sphere in 2013 – 2032 to stimulate the attraction of investments in the priority sectors of the economy and is directed on creation of conditions for the intensification of investment activities by concentrating government resources on the priority directions of development of economy with the purpose of creation new jobs, development of the regions is highlighted. The measures which will help to improve the investment image of Ukraine and to create favorable conditions for the inflow of investments are proposed.
